Lucy is a smart girl. Although, she tends to not use herc common sense in most things. She falls for guys too easily. For she will meet a guy, and fall for them instantly. If he's nice to her, or just really good looking. Basically, she needs to get her head leveled before something bad happens to her. Otherwise- Lucy is a funny girl, she'll tell somebody a joke and laugh, and even if they think its incredibly stupid, she'll say "Well, I though it was funny." She tends to be introverted about her feelings as well. If she has a problem, she won't tell anyone at all. She will keep it in, until it leads her to drinking away her problems. But normally, she will cry it out before that happens, laying in her room for hours crying. She can be a little too emotional about things.
This is probably Lucy’s worst downfall. She’s as stubborn as a mule. If she don’t agree with something, you’ll know about it, and won’t stop until it meets her satisfaction. Not something she loves to have people know about, but guaranteed it will come out within the first twenty minutes of meeting. Truth be told, sometimes it’s just best to sit back and agree with her. Especially if she’s angry, then all hell breaks loose. Not something you want to have to deal with. You’re likely to get your head chopped off at some point, for some reason or another. It all depends on how you word yourself, and if you play your cards right.
Being kind is a virtue, or at least, that’s what it seems to be in this world. You don’t find very many people who are honestly kind, and caring towards one another. But Lucy is. She tries to find the best in everyone until you give her a reason not to think the best. The only person she can never find the best in, is, unfortunately, herself. Through her life, she has had too many problems to believe the best in herself. Her insecurities keep her from seeing the best in who she is, and the best in what she can do. Finding other kind people, is something she treasures among other things. And probably the only thing that can trump kindness in her eyes, is friendship. Lucy finds the silver lining in anything that happens to cross her path, except for of course, herself.
She's a hopeless romantic. If a guy showes even an ounce of a romantic side, she seems to fall for him at the drop of a hat. Well, she falls for him even more than she had been to start with. For Lucy, you don't even have to be extravagant with your romantic side, it can even just be a small amount of romance, and she melts. In the end, it’s not really a wonderful quality for her to have, it gets her into trouble quite often, and she regrets it a lot. Maybe it’s just the fact she can’t tell the difference between lust and love.
Being shy is just part of her nature. Its who she is, and almost a compulsion more than anything now. If she doesn't know you, she'll talk, but her eyes will more than likely be focused on the ground, and her cheeks aflaimed. You can't tell if its just because she's shy that she blushes, because she does blush a lot of the time. It doesn't matter if its a small minor thing, but she can let it get into her head, and off goes the reddness in her cheeks. Its really unstoppable. Once you get to know her though, because its usually what happens, she'll feel more comfortable around you, and all of her senses will let go and she'll just be the wild and crazy girl that she is. Well, not too wild. A lukewarm wild. She’s not like her sister, who’ll run into a party and start dancing with the nearest guy she sees.
Lucy is confident, despite her shyness. She always has a positive outlook on everything, or she has tried to. If something gets her down, she notices the postives about being upset. Not a way to get better from whatever’s troubling her, but she sees the best in being sad. It might be a form of negativism, she doesn’t know, but it’s something she’s always done and done well. Maybe someday she’ll get over this belief she has and acts upon. Who knows, only time will tell in the end. Right?
fears: There are three things Lucy is most afraid of, never being able to photograph again, never being loved, and never getting past the feud she has with Brooke. Photography has always been a staple in her life, and she couldn’t imagine a world where photography was not included. It keeps her grounded when nothing else can. The idea of being loved is something completely different from being in love. For you can be in love and not be loved by the person, and this is something she fears. To live and never be loved, well, that would be her biggest regret. Finally, to never get over what has kept her from being close to her sister again, would be her biggest fear. As much as she and Brooke don’t get along, she is still her sister and part of her loves her just as much as she did when they split apart. To go the rest of her life hating her flesh and blood, her other half, well that would be quite the biggest fear ever.
secrets: Lucy is the kind of person to not tell people many things about herself, she just finds things easier if you don’t get too attached. So her first secret is that she dabbled once in cocaine, she used it for about two solid months before she decided she didn’t want to be a slave to a drug anymore, and she checked herself into a rehab center. The second secret, and her biggest secret, was that she had been pregnant, but couldn’t keep the baby on her own so she had given her daughter up for adoption.
goals: Lucy’s first goal is to be a professional photographer, hopefully either in magazines like national geographic, or in art galleries around the world. The second goal is to fall in love and have a family. And her third goal is to find the daughter she gave up.
WHEN I GET HOME
family: - Jeffrey Davis, 52, Father. Jeffrey was a good father, but his determination to be everything for his family kept pushing Lucy away. She wanted a father who was there and not just the provider he wanted to be. Although he loved his family very much, he seemed distant to Lucy. - Adrienne Davis, 42, Mother. Adrienne always had a better relationship with Brooke than Lucy. They were constantly at odds and fights were frequent between the two. The most of a loving display of affection shown towards Lucy was when they sent her to boarding school. - Brooklyn Davis, 22, Twin. When they were younger, they were the quintessential twins, but as they grew older, they started hating eachother. Despite all this, Lucy knows that nobody understands her better than Brooke. history: Lucy was born into the family of housewife Adrianne and Lawyer Jeffery. Of course, she had a twin sister named Brooke who was a few minutes older than she was. They lived in a small town in New Jersey- Belleville. It wasn't the safest for their growing daughters so they moved down to Washington DC. There was a branch of her father's law firm there, so it was an easy move for her parents.
Lucy grew up spending alot of time with her mother and very rarely seeing her father throughout her youth. Brooke was her best friend as a child, they did everything together and knew eachother inside and out. She loved her sister more than anything else in the world. However, when Lucy hit 13, she began hanging out with her friends more, Brooke was there too, but she had her own group of friends, and boys started to grow a liking for Lucy. As she began to get alot of attention from them, she began to fall for one of them above the rest- Mark. Mark was the only one who didn't want Lucy. But she wanted none of the others. As she came to realize Mark didn't want her, she grew upset and started having more outbursts against her mother, saying she hated her and wished she would die. Shutting herself away, and in turn, excluding Brooke, making her sister hate her.
Coming up upon her 16th birthday, her mother became worn down with her daughter's mutinous behavior. She spoke to Jeffery about her. "Jeff, she is not my daughter anymore. I think it’s these friends of hers." And so Lucy and her family moved to a town an hour away from DC in Virginia where her father could still commute to work, and they would be away from her friends. Brooke was furious at the move, blaming Lucy for causing them to move, because of her antics. However, Lucy began to riot even more. Spending hours in her room crying and sulking beginning to neglect her homework. When she wasn't crying in her room, she was sneaking out and going to visit her friends. They would hang out and she'd be home by the time one of her parents would check in her room. Her father had had enough. It was time for them to take a further action. They called around for boarding schools and decided upon the one in Riverside. She freaked out and ran off to see her friends- and Mark. When Mark sat there with his arm around Lucy's best friend's waist Dani, she left and went home saying "Fine, I don't want to live here anymore anyway."
After that incident occured, Lucy did her best to move on with her life, and she tried. She tried very hard, so much that one day when she finally believed there was no changing her feelings toward Trey, she met Elliot. To her, he was the sweetest, and kindest person she could ever meet. Being who she was, she started to fall for him, but told herself that this time would be different, and she would take it one day at a time. Although, she found that this attempt was all in vain because he was everything she could have ever hoped for, and he liked her for who she was too! There was nothing this boy couldn't do or be, at least not to Lucy. When Elliot passed away, she pushed everyone in her life away, not wanting to talk to anyone, especially Zach, and she wouldn't even look at herself in the mirror. Her world had crashed around her, and she couldn't seem to find herself amidst all the rubble and debris. Luke seemed to pick up the pieces for her. Luke introduced her to a world of chaos and drug addiction. When she was with him she had tried drugs, mostly keeping to alcohol and marijuana, but also trying harder things, like cocaine. When she finally grew weary of the lifestyle Luke was leading her to, she broke it off with him and checked into a rehabilitation center to get away from all of her problems. After her stint in rehab, she moved to New York City and interned at Soho Photo. She lived there for just over two years, of which she met her then boyfriend Ryan. He had her move into his apartment with him, and things quickly heated up. After some time, Lucy discovered she was pregnant. With just a few weeks left of her pregnancy, he proposed to Lucy, telling her that this would be the best for them and the baby. Despite her urges to accept, Lucy knew he didn’t love her, and part of her knew he never would either. She told him she couldn’t and that she was planning on giving the baby up for adoption. On October third, Lucy gave birth to a baby girl. She was speechless at how beautiful this creature was, but she couldn’t keep her. There was no way she could manage to give her the life she deserved to have. With tears streaming down her cheeks, she gave her unnamed daughter to Social Services. Within the next few months, she tried to settle down and get her life in order, but it was to no avail. Just after the first of March, she made her way to Las Vegas to try her hand at life there. pets: Lucy would love a pet, but she cannot afford one
