  Compared to the other schools in Scotland, Kayson appears to be one of the best. But Kayson isn't like any other schools... it's better. Kayson holds some of the most different students around, and by different I don't mean they look different. Some are drug addicts, others are suicidal. while many enjoy sex. Definitely not like your average school, but Kayson isn't just a school, it's a rehabilitation center.
Some students live with their parents and just come to the school in the mornings or afternoons, and then there are the newbies or kids that haven't been trusted enough to even live with their own parents. They all appear different on the outside, but inside they all feel the same. Every student has been chosen by their their parent's, doctors or therapist to come here because no one could handle them, or as they would say, no one understands them.
And after another year, no one can still handle them. There are some students that are here for their first year, while others are merely returning. And while everything seems normal now, it will change as things get settled. After all there is never such a thing as normal at Kayson Academy.
