THISBATTLEISINTHEAIRI'm looking upwards where are the angels?
I'm not in my home. St. Andrew don't forsake me. St. Andrew. Don't forsake me.
The sky had never been so black as it was on the day of the fire, and no one remembers this scene better than those who witnessed it first hand. The students of the once prestigious and great school of St. Gabriel's could do naught but watch the walls smolder and fall, and hope that each shudder that wracked the building and it's companions would be the last. Among the wreckage and the ash lay an ominous question: what to do? The dumbfounded boys, students and faculty alike, were given a choice: stay, work in portables, wait for things to be rebuilt, and hope that maybe there was a chance that everything could end up somewhere close to the same. Or, pick a sister school, and start all over somewhere new.
For most, the choice was obvious. Something close to familiar, somewhere that they could all go together, something close to what once was: St. Andrew's. Suddenly, the once quiet and calm school was being infiltrated - and not by your average Catholic private boarding school student, either. It seemed that most of the kids - and teachers even - moving from St. Gabriel's were rather... different. Loud. Raunchy. Raucous. Drugs and alcohol were always there to be found, if you looked hard enough, and the authority which was once so lax found itself plunged into the world of inevitable deceit that surrounded narcotics and the reckless teenage boy. St. Andrew's had always had trouble maker boys of its own, but now, without warning, those kids were being outdone.
Now, the two are mixing. Learning each other's rules. Healing cuts and slashing new ones, asking questions and demanding answers. So who are you? What do you do? Join the trouble, or fade away? The only fire in this school, is the one brewing beneath the surface.
Where are the angels? Don't forget me.
St. Andrew I've been true. What do I need to say? What do I need to say?
