FULL OF EXCITING STORIES

RECKLESS Natalie has no idea of what is right and what is wrong. She lives her life without balance or any second thought. She doesn’t think for other or for herself. The only thing that controls her brain and her decisions are cocaine. She decides what she’s going to do based on her addiction. Her dealer isn’t picking up? Well then she’ll have to walk around Vegas until she can find her fix. She doesn’t have enough money? She’ll call her dad and say that she lost her job. Natalie has absolutely no limit and does whatever she wants. She doesn’t take no for an answer and finds nothing to be ‘too dangerous’. When confronted about it, Natalie bluntly claims that she’s just living her life better than most. Instead of being a no person, she’s a yes person. Unfortunately for her, this ideology has gotten her into more trouble than needed.
PROMISCUOUS Sex is Natalie’s favorite thing, second to cocaine that is. There is nothing that gives her as much pleasure as a man’s touch does or a bite in the right place. And Natalie will do anything to get attention from a man. She is known to wear short skirts and revealing tops, showing off her voluptuous rack and long legs. She loves the attention she gets when her outfit shows off her best assets. She will flirt with your boyfriend and fuck your husband, just as long as she’s getting pleasure from it. She doesn’t care what you think about her, call her a slut all you want. She doesn’t care what you think about her because she probably feels the same way about you. She’ll put out all she wants and no one is able to stop her.
ADDICTED Ever since Natalie got to Vegas, she has been heavily into the drug scene. She’ll do anything you give her except heroin and crack cocaine. She takes pills, snorts lines and drops whatever she can find. She spends most of her money that she earns from her job on drugs or alcohol. Although her drug of choice is cocaine, she’ll take whatever she can find. Sometimes she just doesn’t have the money for cocaine and spends it on pressed caps. All she needs is something to keep her from going through withdrawal and feeling any pain whatsoever. This current drug problem leads to her barely sleeping and staying out in clubs until they close. She’s become very popular on the drug scene and is fairly well known. Her dealer is an ex boyfriend which sometimes forces her to sleep with him for drugs. At first it bothered her, but now she’s too desperate to say no.
IRRESPONSIBLE Natalie takes absolutely no responsibility for anything. The only thing she has a commitment to is her job and there are times when she’s too high to show up. She has no idea how to be responsible and refuses any commitment whatsoever. Her rent? Sometimes paid. The only thing she has money for is her addiction. She has no savings, hardly any furniture and the car she had was seized when she was kicked out of her last apartment. None of this bothers her and she continues on in her life without any second thoughts about the harm she has done.
NAIVE One would think that a person with such an addiction would have some street smarts. Unfortunately for Natalie, this is not the case. Natalie doesn’t say no to anything and sometimes she ends up in some pretty bad situations. Lately she’ll take any sort of pill a guy will give her and this leads her on some bad trips and often in random strangers beds.
fears: Natalie has always had a fear of hospitals. Ever since she would pick up her mom after over dosing she developed a great fear of the facilities. When she steps foot in a hospital, she shakes and feels nauseous from the smell. Natalie is also worried that one day she will end up in the hospital like her mother. This creates another fear of overdosing and ending up like her mother who is in jail. Every aspect of her mother is what Natalie tries not to be. She doesn’t want to be a failure and end up doing time while her child is growing up without her. Another fear of Natalie’s is death. Even though most of the drugs she takes puts her on the edge of death, Natalie continues to play with fire. When she’s high, she doesn’t have any fears. When she sobers up, she just thanks god that she’s still alive and with more drugs to spare.
secrets: Natalie still hasn’t told her dad that most of the money he sends her goes toward her drug addiction. Her father still believes that she is in Vegas perusing her dream as a performer and doing quite well. He just pays her rent out of respect.
goals: Natalie does no have many goals. But one day she wishes to follow the dreams that she came to Vegas for. When Natalie looks into the future, she sees success. She hopes to be famous and not have to worry about money. She wants to perform and entertain and make money while having fun. In a couple years Natalie also hopes to sober up and become a successful woman and put her wild past behind her.
WHEN I GET HOME
family: Miranda Martel (Mother – residing in jail) “I want nothing to do with my mother. She is a failure, a drug addict and she is not my mother. She has let me down in every way shape and form and I blame her for my addiction. She’s the reason I have this goddamn addiction. Sometimes I wish she would just go to jail and never come out. I hope she dies in there while knowing that I hate her. I hope she’s going through hell in jail.” Jonathan Martel (Father – residing in San Francisco) “Without my father, I would probably be dead. He sends me money and supports me no matter what. He is an amazing father and I couldn’t ask for any more from him. He was there when my mother wasn’t and fills the void that my mother has left. Although he doesn’t know about my drug use, I know he would still care about me. If anything, he would try and help me. He’s not the kind of father who would just leave me to work for myself. I love my dad more than anything.” history: It wasn’t just lust that fueled the night that Natalie was conceived. Alcohol calmed the mood while ecstasy sent both teenagers into complete bliss. Never did they expect themselves in a free clinic a few weeks later, staring at the wall across from them like deer in headlights. A child wasn’t something that a 16 year old girl could handle; let along raise in the situation she was stuck in with her parents. Although the two of them were young, naïve and way over their head, they kept the child and gave birth to Natalie a short 9 months later in the sunny city of San Francisco. Jonathan and Miranda has no idea what they were getting into when they decided to keep the child and relied purely on their parents to take care of the child. The love the couple had for each other continued to diminish the older Natalie got and the more Miranda started to drink. Natalie’s mother had come from an unstable home and dealt with abuse from a very young age. She used alcohol and substances to escape the tough times of having a child and rarely came home at night. Natalie was too young to realize what was happening, but her mother was spiraling downwards without caring about her young daughter. Although Miranda continued to forget about her daughter, Jonathan was always there for Natalie. Natalie became a first priority before school for her father and their bond grew while her mother grew out of the picture. It wasn’t long before her mother went out for a night partying and never came back.
Natalie was six when she got a call from her mother who had been arrested and put into jail. After getting caught in possession of many drugs on the street, she was sentenced to five years in prison. To Natalie, this caused even more confusion. She continued to ask her dad where mom was and when she was coming home. Even after all her mother had put her through, Natalie missed her dearly. Jonathan and Natalie got along fine without Miranda after her father got a decent job that supported both of them. They survived and the two of them were happy as can be without having the burden of Miranda on their backs.
When Natalie was eleven, her mother was finally released from prison on probation. Her mother begged to come back, telling the happy duo that she was clean and ready to start a family. Being the forgiving man he was, Jonathan let her back into the house until she found a better place to stay. The first months went by with flying colors, the family finally getting back on the right track. But good things never lasted for the Martel family and Natalie’s parents started to fight almost every night. The problem became more evident to Natalie when her mom got back into drugs; leaving for days and coming back high off some unknown drug. Natalie was exposed to drugs at a young age and became more interested the more she saw of them.
It was her first year of high school that she started to experiment. Natalie started to drink on the weekends and smoked weed when she needed to relax. The first year was perfectly harmless until things got worse at home. Natalie found drugs as an escape from her mother’s problems and the sadness she saw in her fathers face. Her new crowd of friends started to introduce her to acid and the perks of a hallucinogenic. The feeling of being high just erased every other feeling and for those few hours, she would completely forget about the tragedy in her life. No one seemed to notice when her grades continued to slip and her nights got longer and longer every weekend. Natalie was oblivious to the harm she was inflicting on her body and didn’t care as long as it felt good. She would always be smiling at school and her eyes always droopy because of the massive amount of marijuana she smoked. Natalie was living the high life, literally. It only got better when she started to get attention from the boys at her school. By 15, she was already sleeping with many guys who attended her school. It wasn’t about the sex that she liked; it was all about the attention from the boys that she never got at home.
On her 16th birthday, Natalie got another dreaded phone call from her mother. She was back in jail for possession and prostitution. For once, Natalie didn’t let it get to her. Her mother had put her through enough and she was ready to forget she ever existed. As much as she loved her dad, she needed to get away from her home life and forget her childhood. She and a boyfriend at the time decided to run away, driving across all the states until they ran out of money for gas. It was obvious that their relationship wasn’t going to last and soon Natalie was left to fend for herself. Natalie found herself in Las Vegas with only a backpack, clothing, a pack of cigarettes and a tab of acid. She was broke, lost but unharmed by the fact that she had no where to stay. She knew that it wasn’t hard for a young girl like her to find a decent job waiting tables or serving drinks to horny men.
With a mature face and curvy body, she looked to be way older than her actual age. She was let into the fanciest clubs around town and got a job at a bar just a block away from the motel she was staying in. Her life wasn’t perfect but drugs were accessible and she had finally escaped her mother. Natalie’s bar job started to introduce her to new drugs and soon she was bending over a toilet on her break, snorting rails off the toilet seat. Everything was just amazing when she was high and serving colorful drinks to men who gave her huge tips because of her low cut top. All the money she made in tips would be put toward her next hit or drink when she got cut from her shift.
Natalie now lives in a small leaky apartment, just struggling to get by. Most of the money she earns she puts toward drugs or her cigarettes. She makes frequent calls to her dad for money, who is oblivious to her addiction and sends her money almost every month.
