Mysterious, well. Brooke Davis is a double-sided feature. Or triple-sided, which in turn, deems her quite the mysterious character. In public, she's quite often the loud, rambunctious type without a care in the world, who refuses to go home unless she's dangling on the arm of a lovely suitor. At some points, she may seem like your typical whore, but don't be fooled! The next day, you'll find her sneaking in to the library, cozying up to her favorite roman a clef with a pair of spectacles perched upon her little nose. An intelligent whore? Not so fast. Around other women, she can be quite the character. To her best of friends, those who have earned her trust, she is laid-back and genuine, fun loving and loyal. But to others, she is vicious, unforgiving, and hateful at best. This woman dare not be crossed. So, a smart, moody, fear-instilling slut? You're getting warmer, but Brooklyn Davis cannot be labeled. Therefore, she is mysterious, at best.
Untamed? Why, of course. No woman with her sort of history could ever afford to be disciplined without the risk of being boring? A sell-out, never! No, Brooke is what Brooke does. And Brooke's actions are never tainted or reserved for the sake of her reputation, or for the fear of undeserved consequences. She isn't afraid to take full responsibility for her actions and often times, is able to aptly and easily talk her way right out of trouble, or occasionally, seduce her maitre right out of trouble, but that's another topic entirely. For the sake of time, we'll put it briefly. Brooklyn Davis knows what she wants. She gets what she wants, and she is not afraid to leave you sobbing in your knickers outside in the rain. Hell, she'll sweet talk her way back into your life, and you'll forget it even happened.
Shameless, well, it comes with the baggage of being Brooke Davis. Shameless, the quality, is necessary in order to be a successful manipulator, for without shame, one is without conscience. She is in fact quite possibly the only woman in the world without a heart, and without the little voice constantly reminding her of right and wrong? Morals? She laughs in the face of morals, ethics and standards. For Brooke, standards are a day by day thing, a spur of the moment decision riding entirely on what could benefit her in the morning. In general, Brooke is Brooke. Brooke may as well rhyme with shameless, for that is what she is, and that is what she embodies.
When one thinks of a wild, fiery, untamed young woman, Brooklyn Davis must always come to mind. This dame is quite the temptress, a seductress of sorts without a hint of shame beneath her golden complexion. She epitomizes the essence of everything that must be avoided at the age of twenty one, packaged in a pretty face and obsessively cared-for physique. Superficially beautiful, yes, but there is more to her than an accentuated chest and curves to kill. There is something about her - a hint of flavor, a glimmer in her eye, that impish smirk - that makes this woman who she is.
At the worthy height of five-foot-eight, Brooke harbors the brightest of fathomless green eyes, and a set of perpetually upturned lips. Her hair, a long bundle of usually messy honey-colored locks that spill deliciously over her shoulders, paired with a colorful array of scanty clothing and high heels to die for. But this darling cleans up well, seeing as deceit comes easy to a fine actress, and therefore, one is never entirely familiar with the 'look' of Brooklyn Davis, simply the idea of her.
Determination , is key to success. For Brooke, determination is the reason she has survived as long as she has. When Brooke finds something she wants, she will not cease to work for it unless she has it. Now her means are not exactly conventional in any way, but the fact of the matter is, she's risen above the flames, like a Raven of sorts, and has thus grown stronger through adversities.
Curiosity , never actually killed the cat. And in Brooke's case, it too has made her stronger. Her curiosity has always been the reason behind most of her madness, and it is in fact the reason why she has become who she is. She isn't one to stop with wonders in her mind, no. She wants answers. And so she finds them one way or another, and this has usually benefited her. She, in turn, is more intellectual, more in touch with her needs, and more observant.
Strength , is all a woman needs to survive. Not the self-defense kind, though Brooke has trained, mind you, but rather the kind that keeps her from falling victim to the lashes of others. Strength is what a woman like Brooke needs to continue being herself without fearing what others will say of her, and what gives her the energy and the will to stand up when she's down. It is this strength that boosts her and makes her Brooke Davis. It's like the pretty pink bow on a brand new car!
Obsession , isn't the most healthy way to approach a need. When Brooke wants something, it becomes her need. And Brooke absolutely needs to acquire her needs, or else other people will fall victim to her wrath. Obsession is the reason she is addicted to a wild lifestyle, a damaging outlook of life, and a self-destructive personality that has yet to strike.
Irrationality , was most likely the reason why Brooke is so hated. Whether its a married man, a copy of a test, or a few too many drinks, Brooke isn't exactly the most logistical person in the world, and she pays for it. Usually it ends in alienation, which she quickly covers by finding new obsessions and new toys, but it always ends the same way. Someone gets hurt, and Brooke talks her way out, after convincing herself she is okay.
Ego , hers especially, is the reason Brooke Davis is a dangerous character. Her ego, her dignity, her pride, are the most important factors in her life, and she will not ever let them fall. She is not afraid to do anything for the sake of her pride, and will not admit defeat, even if it means coming out a fool in the end. For in her eyes, if she always wins some way or other, she is on top, and all Brooke needs is a bit more power, and baby, she's back in business.
fears: Brooklyn's biggest fear is simply having to admit to failing entirely. Failing itself can be covered up, but the moment she has to fess up to it, Brooke may die of embarrassment and shame. Her second biggest fear is to be knocked up, because with her lifestyle, the one thing that could throw her off course is a baby. The third fear, and probably the most relevant, is falling in love and losing the person to death. secrets: Brooke's biggest secret is her intelligence, and her love for classic literature. Most don't know this about Brooke, and she intends on keeping it that way. Her second secret is her obsession with classical music, which really just goes hand in hand with the book loving. goals: The first and most important goal is to write a book - probably under a pen name - of all of her trysts and lovers over the years and what they have taught her. With this book she intends on being a best-selling author, and then single-handedly starting the Neo-Romanticism Era. The second goal is to fall in love, and the third is to die before the wrinkles show up, or at least as far as the plastic surgery will take her.
WHEN I GET HOME
family: - Jeffrey Davis, 52, Father. Jeffrey is a sweet father, who loves his two daughters and wife more than anything. He's the ultimate provider, and though he doesn't do much, he puts his three women before everything else. - Adrienne Davis, 42, Mother. Adrienne is Brooklyn, twenty years in the future and a bit more mature. She's settled down and far less concerned with herself, but still looks always for the fun in life. - Lucille "Lucy" Davis, 22, Twin. Lucy is quite frankly Brooklyn's polar opposite, but no one knows her better than Lucy. These two girls have been through everything together. history: Born in Belleville, New Jersey, stay-home mother and a lawyer father, Brooklyn Elizabeth Davis did not come out alone. Joining her in this rather remarkable day was a second baby, Lucille “Lucy” Marie Davis. As the two began to grow, they acted similarly, and often mimicked each other’s actions. Once the family moved to Washington D.C. for the sake of Lucy and Brooke’s well-raising, things began to change. Lucy had seemed to fall in love, and things in the house would constantly revolve around her. The more fights Lucy got into with her mother, the more her mother seemed to be forgetting about her second daughter, Brooke. It was almost as though the spotlight had moved from being on the two of them, to being on just Lucy, while caused Brooke’s temper to flare. Immediately, she began acting up, yet nobody seemed to notice. She went from being a shy girl, to being a rebellious teen, and one who couldn’t control her emotions.
As time went on, both parents began to focus more on Lucy’s issues than on Brooke, and finally, Brooke snapped. She stopped focusing on her family, and eventually cared less about anything going on with them. She stayed out late with her friends, snuck into bars guys she didn’t know, and neither parent seemed to notice. It seemed as though every effort she made to be seen and heard, only made it harder for her to get the attention of either parent.
Because of these problems, Brooke began to despise her sister. She was quite jealous of Lucy, and almost envied her. She wanted the spotlight, and she wanted to be noticed. She paid no attention to Lucy, and usually treated her as if she was inferior, and had no relation to her. She constantly brought up the fact that she was older, and made it almost impossible for Lucy to talk to Brooke without Brooke’s snooty comments. The bond between these sister’s had broken much earlier, but it seemed to simply get worse, and worse.
Finally, the Davis’ concluded that the best thing for Lucy was for her to attend a boarding school in California, and Brooke could not have been happier. Watching her sister get on a plane, only made her more content to know that now her parents would focus on her. And of course, this was the way things turned out, but Brooke had never realized that this attention would cause her to have to stop her ways. The rebellious teen she’d become shaped her, and molded her personality, and the more her parents saw what she’d become, the more she wanted to keep her close to them. They wanted her to remain the innocent and shy child, and often forced her to stay home, and under house arrest. They treated her as though she was their only child, which is exactly what she hoped for, but not in the way she had expected. They’d politely ask her to stay home on Friday nights, and she’d agree in a polite tone, before walking upstairs, and climbing out the window to a friends car, where she’d run off to a bar and get wasted. Eventually, her parents did catch her, and they spent long hours trying to think of a punishment for her.
But clearly, once serious consequences were brought up, Brooke left home, and moved to California to live with a friend. The parents were hesitant and neurotic at first, but after a month of knowing she was alive and well, they decided to run with it, thinking that maybe if she tried to make it on her own, she’d shape up. In California, Brooklyn worked as an intern for SBE Entertainment company, while taking night classes at a local university. She graduated a year early at the age of 21, and had climbed the ladder at work. Over the course of time, she wedged her way into the life of Stanford Bentley, a multimillionaire who's zipper-producing company had penetrated and overtook the market. He retired by the time their tryst had reached a record breaking six months, moving to Las Vegas and flying her out every weekend he could.
Unfortunately, Mr. Bentley hadn't the best heart condition, and after a long affair with a prostitute, died post-orgasm in a cheap motel he was known to frequent. Fortunately for Brooke, the shame of the affair had led him to designate his fortune to Brooke, and at just twenty-two, moved out to Las Vegas to handle the consistent influx of wealth.
A year later, Brooklyn Davis founded Bolthouse Entertainment Division, a financing venture for some of Vegas' most popular bars, night clubs, and restaurants.
pets: Brooke has no patience for pets.
